Harry Windsor: What his going means
for the UK. What his
coming means for the USA.
Harry Windsor’s departure from
the UK and the royal family will be viewed historically as the second phase in
the progressive end of British royalty. This eventuation was inevitable;
evolutionary. It comes as a natural progression from the death of Diana. Diana
was said to be pregnant with what would have been a dark-skinned child of a
Muslim man with Egyptian heritage: Dodi Fayed, and as his father Mohamed said,
"All those two ever did was love each other." Even if the pregnancy
rumour was false, they paid for it with their lives.
Another fact that would have
had profound significance on the outcome of the Dodi Fayed / Diana relationship
is that the leader of the 9/11 attacks on American soil, Mohamed Atta, was the
son of Mohamed Fayed’s business partner. Cairo attorney Mohamed el-Amir Awad
el-Sayed Atta was the father of the lead hijacker. Dodi al Fayed's mother was
Samira Kashoggi, sister of weapons dealer Adnan Khashoggi.
Back in 1953, GHW Bush, 41st
President of the USA (whose name was linked to Khashoggi's in the Iran-contra
affair) and Al Fayed were directors of the Singer Sewing Machine company.
Although 9/11 happened in
2001, and Diana and Dodi died in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in 1997, 4 years
earlier, do you really think that MI15 and MI16, the British Military
Intelligence, not to mention the equivalent CIA in the USA, were not aware of
these connections?
While we are talking about
enemies of the state, Meghan had a British male ancestor who was beheaded under
Henry VIII's reign. Meghan Markle is related to Lord Hussey, 1st Baron Hussey
of Sleaford. This 15th- and 16th-century royal earned knighthood during the
Cornish rebellion of 1497. But when he was unable to put down another rebellion
four decades later, Henry VIII called for his land, his wealth, and his
head. The rot continues down the ages.
Harry has been freer than
William to become his own man. He also suffered more from the insidious rumours
about his being not the child of his father Charles. Anyone who knows anything
about the royal line knows that red hair runs in the royal family. Henry VIII
had red hair, and so did Elizabeth I. Detractors would have known this salient
fact; yet continually sparked the rumours to ruin the young man’s future,
estrange him from the public and deliberately destroy his mental health. Harry,
and not William, has been the target since extreme youth, and we have to ask,”
Why?” Is it because he has shown signs of following in his mother’s
controversial and politically disruptive footsteps?
Apart from the ignominious history
of “traitorous” associations both in the Diana line and the Markle line, Harry
and Meghan are blood related through Meghan's father Thomas and Harry's
great-grandmother, the Queen Mother. The families share a common
ancestor, Ralph Bowes, a High Sheriff of County Durham in England in
the 15th century. Diana and Charles, Harry’s parents, were direct descendants
of Henry VII, the Tudor King.
Whether Harry’s telling Oprah
that his son Archie will not have a royal title was a complaint or just a
statement of plain fact, is not clear. If the former, (a lamentation), Meghan
and Harry officially opted out of the royal family, so they cannot reasonably
expect their son to receive the title of Prince.
It would not be surprising if they
are having difficulty adjusting to their new status, since Harry reputedly had
to rely first on William’s, then his mother's money, once he departed the
shores of the UK permanently to reside in the USA. The royal coffers are no
longer open to them.
Whether they realize it or
not; the couple have chosen to live in a country that is in the early stages of
a societal revolution, which revolt has only been quelled for a time; perhaps
staved off for a generation. Bernie Sanders has finally achieved his lifelong
goal: that of awakening the hearts, minds and souls of his people. I think the
USA is only a generation away from becoming the Socialist Democratic Republic
of America. The oligarchical nouveau rich, like Oprah and now Meghan and Harry,
who have joined their ranks, (merging old money with new money), will likely
find the changed political climate that Archie will grow up in, not altogether
to their liking.
But then again, Harry could
surprise. He is a smart young man, and his heart is in the right place, with
the people, as was his mother’s. He will not say or do anything, I think, that
is likely to be out of step with the will of the people, and in the best
interests of the masses. I would like to see him enter politics in the USA, as
a Democratic Socialist. He is capable of doing that; but given the assasinative
history of the USA, it would be a very dangerous, if honourable, step.
The recent interview with
Oprah, who was the driving force both financial and media wise behind Barack
Obama, is very suggestive of a political push in the behind of the young Harry
Windsor in the direction of the White House. True, he was not born in the USA, and currently the law there states he
must be to run for President. Laws can change. But Meghan, on the other hand,
is born the same day and month as Barack Obama: on 4th August, and
she was born in Los Angeles, where the couple reside. Oprah would be quick to discern the Kennedyesque appeal, not only in
Harry, but also in Meghan, as a fitting First Lady, reminiscent of Michelle
Obama. In fact, Harry bears a resemblance
to red-headed left-wing “Progressive” (aka Democratic Socialist) Joe Kennedy
III, born 4th October, 1980. Harry Windsor, born 15th
September, 1984, is only 4 years younger.
Prince Harry served in the
Army for ten years, rising to the rank of Captain and undertaking two tours of
Afghanistan. He continues to work in support of his fellow servicemen,
promoting support for wounded men and women as they adapt to life post-injury. America, in case you had not noticed, is an
extremely militaristic nation. Not a day goes by that they are not thanking
someone for their service. That applies to ordinary, everyday Americans as well
as their leaders. America loves a serviceman.
On the face of it, it seems
extreme to compare Harry Windsor to an historical war general, but in some
respects, Harry Windsor seems to have the potential of a young BolÃvar, the
wealthy and privileged slave owner who became a champion of his people,
renouncing slavery and leading a popular revolution of disparate ethic groups that
freed many suffering peoples from the yoke of imperialist Spanish rule. BolÃvar
exhausted the family fortune, dying in poverty at the premature age of 47
from what was then diagnosed as “tuberculosis”; though some experts today say
the symptoms resemble arsenic poisoning.
Simón BolÃvar (24th July 1783
to 17th December 1830), was a South American general and statesman who brought
political independence to six present-day nations. Called the Liberator, he was
the greatest military figure of South America. He was born in Caracas,
Venezuela, then part of the Hispanic colonial empire. His parents belonged to
the aristocratic upper class but as Creoles they were discriminated against
because of their race and culture. His mother, who died young, habitually gave
him an umbrella to shield his skin from the sun, telling him that it would not
make a good impression either at home or abroad if he allowed his skin to
become too dark. So, colourism was alive and kicking back then, and it
continues today, right around the world, within many cultures. It is not only an
affliction of white people.
At his mother’s death, Simon
Bolivar was double orphaned at the age of 9. The fatherless boy early showed
traits of independence and a strong will. He was sent to Madrid in 1799 to
complete his education, paid for under his mother’s inheritance which was being
managed by his uncle. Thus, the proper instruction was secured for the young
aristocrat, which included the dubious acquaintance with the decadent court of
Charles IV and the noble families of Madrid.
At the age of 18 BolÃvar
married the love of his life, Maria Teresa de Toro, from one of the noble
families. In 1802 the couple went to live in Caracas, where after only 6 months
of wedded life the young wife died of yellow fever. This tragedy caused a metamorphosis
within BolÃvar and he vowed never to marry again. The young soldier dedicated
the rest of his life to accomplishing the impossible: the liberation of
Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru and Panama; in which mission,
against incredible odds, he succeeded.

Today, Caracas, birthplace of
Bolivar, is considered to be one of the most dangerous cities in the world.
Trump was behind the coup by right wing Juan Guaido, who attempted to overthrow
socialist leader Nicolas Maduro. As political governmental alliances shift
globally, so too does support for different leaderships around the world. A change to democratic socialism of the kind introduced to the USA by Bernie Sanders, will inevitably radically change America's military place and political face in the world.
